Tomorrow is the Big Day

Good morning, everyone.  Well, after all of this "getting ready", tomorrow is finally the big day, and yes, I am nervous!  What did everyone do to keep their nerves at bay during those last few hours?   I am starting my day by going to our local thrift store's summer clearance sale.  I am going to take a leap of faith and buy things in much smaller sizes!   Leaving to go to the hospital at 4:30 tomorrow morning is going to be hard, though!   I mentally know that it will all be fine, etc, but tell that to my nervous system!  I will be looking forward to getting home and posting my experiences over the weekend!

Good luck tomorrow.  You will be in our thoughts and prayers.  Do you have a phone angel, or someone that will be at the hospital, and can post updates for us?  Please let us know how you are doing, and take care!  Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your NEW life!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

First off congratulations on your day finally getting here.  You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
As for the nerves, I wasnt nervous at all. I was excited!  Really, all I could suggest is just to stay busy and get all your house work and everything done so you wont want to do anything when you get home.  You will need that time to rest and recoup.  Good luck tomorrow!

Congratulations!  I think most people are nervous AND excited about the changes they anticipate coming with their WLS.  I was, and looking back couldn't even begin to imagine being where I am today.  Next month will be 3 years.  My goal was to get in to a size 18 dress.  I made it down to a 12 and couldn't believe it.  You will do wonderfully and you have a whole lot of cheerleaders here for you to help you on your way.

Good luck and God bless.
